WHERE YOU LAND | JUNE
The city flipped the switch this week, and it's all happening at once.
A few things worth checking out:
Kickoff to Summer at The Commons downtown: Food trucks, lawn games, and a Grease sing-along at dusk. DETAILS
Prince block party & sing-along Saturday at the mural, the day before what would've been his 68th. DETAILS
Twins are back at Target Field. Bring sunscreen and modest expectations. SCHEDULE
Pride is coming: Loring Park, June 27-28, with the parade down Hennepin on the 28th. Not this week, but mark it. TCPRIDE
Add packed lakes, full patios, and a farmers market on every corner, and you've got the stretch we wait all winter for.
THE MARKET
Homes are sitting a little longer: 57 days to sell, up from 50 a year ago.
Prices eased: median of $392,000, down 2% from last spring.
More to choose from: supply is up 12.5% to 2.7 months, and new listings are up 9% over last year.
Sellers are landing slightly under asking: 99.3% of list price, down from the bidding-war years.
The surprise: affordability is up nearly 7% - homes are more within reach than they were a year ago.
